Exiting is one of the biggest financial decisions of your life, and most female founders have no plan for it. The Exit Room is an intimate, invitation-style day with the women who know exactly what it takes, so you leave with a real plan, not just more questions.
Exit with confidence. Leave whole. The Exit Room is a working day for women business owners ready to move exit planning from "someday" to an actual plan. You'll leave with the financial literacy, buyer perspective, and personal support to plan an exit on your own terms, alongside a growing community of women doing the same work. It's built on lived experience, not just theory. Less than 1% of majority-stake business sales are female-founded. We're not just helping owners join that number. We're here to grow it.
It doesn't have to. With the right plan, and the right room around you, you can walk away with your business's value and your sense of who you are, both fully intact.
Don't know what it takes to exit your business? These are the women who do, bringing the financial literacy, buyer perspective, and lived experience to help you find out.

Founder of Exit Welle, bringing the buyer's-eye view of what actually moves a business's value.
Jessica Craig is the founder of Exit Welle, a sell-side M&A advisory and exit planning firm built for established business owners — particularly women founders — preparing for their next chapter.
A Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), and MBA, Jessica has spent her career translating the mechanics of a sale into a plan owners can actually act on: valuation, buyer psychology, deal structure, and the negotiation table itself. As Past President of IBBA Canada, she's worked alongside advisors across the country to raise the standard of exit planning nationally.
At The Exit Room, Jessica brings the buyer's-eye view — what actually moves a business's value, and how to walk into a negotiation already knowing the rules.

Fractional CFO showing founders what their financials really say about their business's value.
Zahra is a Fractional CFO and founder of Crunch TimeZ CFO Services, where she works with ambitious founders to make sense of the numbers behind their businesses and make more confident decisions about what comes next.
Zahra believes your financials should do more than tell you what happened last month — they should show what's really driving your business, where the opportunities are, and what might be getting in the way of the next stage of growth. Through her work with founder-led businesses, she brings a practical, strategic perspective to conversations that often feel hardest to navigate: profitability, growth, cash flow, investment, and eventually, what a business could be worth.
At The Exit Room, Zahra will explore what your financials can reveal about the value and strength of your business — and why understanding that story well before an exit conversation gives founders more choices, more confidence, and more control over what comes next.

Sonya is a Senior Tax Advisor at Plena Wealth Advisors of Raymond James Ltd. She is a CPA licensed in both Canada and the U.S. and specializes in Canadian and cross-border tax planning. She is also the co-author of the best-selling book, Your Move to Canada.
Working in wealth management as a tax planning specialist allows her to view planning from a holistic perspective that goes beyond the tax return, from how to structure a business to maximize your after-tax proceeds from the sale, to how to invest the proceeds from your exit to grow your wealth for generations to come.
We open by naming what it actually means to sell a business, and the life that can exist on the other side of it, so you start the day already picturing a future you may not have let yourself imagine yet.
The financial and buyer literacy that shows what actually moves your business's value, so you understand your numbers long before you're ever sitting across from a buyer.
Hear real stories and lived experiences from our panel of incredible exited founders. What worked, what didn't, and what they wish they knew going in to their own exits.
Close the day over wine with the women you spent it with: an intimate dinner for trading stories, making connections, and carrying the momentum of the room into what comes next.
These tickets are for the business owners in the room: an investment in your business's next chapter, with full-day access, practical workbooks, and advice you can put to work moving your business toward a successful exit. You'll also meet other women in the exit space and become part of a growing community.
For lawyers, accountants, wealth advisors, and other professionals supporting business owners through an exit.
This first Exit Room is hosted at Conscious Lab, a Vancouver gathering space founder Jenna Herbut built for entrepreneurs, creators, and people who wanted somewhere real to connect, not another rented conference room. It's hosted intimate dinners, workshops, and conversations that go beyond the surface since it opened, which is exactly the kind of room this conversation needed too.
We chose it because the exit conversation deserves the same rigor as anything discussed in a boardroom, but it also deserves a space that supports the people in it instead of asking something of them. No one's dressing up for a room that isn't theirs here. It's warm, unguarded, and still built for serious work.
This is not a trade show. It is a working room where you can put your business in front of established owners actively planning their exit. A handful of sponsor spots are available.
The Exit Room is built for established women business owners, generally with $1M+ in annual revenue. If you've ever thought "one day I might want to sell," this is for you, even if that day is years away, and even if you don't have a formal plan yet. Most attendees won't. You just need to be open to planning ahead of one.
Both tickets include full-day access to all sessions, speakers, workbooks, and networking. VIP also includes the Founders Dinner that evening, an intimate dinner with the women you spent the day with.
Yes. With seats limited to around 30 people, the day is built for real conversation, not a lecture hall. There's built-in time to talk with other founders, and VIP ticket holders get an additional evening together at the Founders Dinner.
A clearer picture of your exit options, the financial and buyer literacy to understand what actually moves your business's value, and a community of women navigating the same decisions. You'll leave with practical next steps, not just inspiration.
Business casual is a good baseline, but this isn't your typical boardroom. Wear whatever helps you feel like yourself and ready to be in the room.
The main day wraps up around 4 PM, with the Founders Dinner starting at 6 PM back at Conscious Lab, so there's a break in between if you need to step out for family or life things. If you'd rather stay downtown, there's plenty to explore in the area, or you're welcome to simply relax before dinner begins.
